The more I play with it the more I like it: Apple's new iPod shuffle is an amazing little gadget.
I go to the gymnasium three times a week and I have been taking my 3G iPod thinking it could not get better, but as it turns out, the miniature size IS BETTER.
I mean I kept worrying weather I was going to drop it or accidentally smear it and in comparison, the shuffle's lanyard keeps it close and you can't even feel you have it on your neck, it's light, light, light.
I have been using it as a thumb drive and a music player and it works great cross platform too. I can port documents from macs to PC's ( including architectural plans and specs and it doesn't even flinch ) and I also plugged it into my TASCAM mixer and the size factor here is a bonus, No big box to lug around, no complicated cues, press-play, press-stop.
Battery so far is ok, but that is something to discover over time I guess.
